What I have accomplished so far
Education
I received both my degrees from Full Sail University in Winter Park, Florida. My initial studies were in Digital Arts & Design where I received a Bachelor's Degree and then went on to receive a Master's Degree in Entertainment Business.
Web Design & Development
After graduating I worked for a start up company where I designed and developed websites for clients. I also helped set up a local marketing sister company that used Groupon style architecture.
Ecommerce Business Development
In 2012 I was tasked with increasing online and third party marketplace sales for a sporting goods retailer. I expanded their current platforms and then integrated a third party inventory & order management system. After seeing significant growth we built a warehouse where I implemented new shipping and receiving logistics which included the development of internal software tools. I also oversaw and implemented several upgrades to the shipping and receiving departments. During this period I also managed the online and marketplaces department which included two major web redesign projects and was the main buyer of retail goods for online sales.
Local Retail Marketing
As the retail marketing manager I also introduced several marketing programs that aimed to increase foot traffic and retail sales. One I am most proud of was our Give Back Shoe Donation program. The program was designed to give back to the community while also creating sales and new customers. Customers would bring in an old pair of shoes and receive a 20% discount of a new pair. I worked with a local non profit organization that would get the used shoes to those in the community that needed them. Our goal was to get customers into new shoes faster and also help our community by giving shoes to customers that could not afford them. I also designed and integrated a customer rewards loyalty program called Player Points which aimed to create customer loyalty while growing an email list to support our email marketing program.
Laser Engraving Technologies
In 2018 I also took over the awards and engraving department where I designed custom awards and personalization items from start to finish. I increased design and product offerings to create more options for customers increasing clients and sales.
